Wet Plate Collodion - Process

Here's Michael Shindler demonstrating the process in a workshop I attended recently:

My first photo at the workshop, I messed up when I poured the collodion leaving this long thin blob that created the blue line. The interesting and somewhat random imperfections of the process, mostly around the edges, makes it so visually interesting, in my opinion.
